The matter of being a "Gay" priest in the words of God as given to us by the inspired word:
Therefore, do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey it's evil desires."Do not offer the parts your body to sin, as instruments of wickednes, but rather yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to Hiom as instruments of righteousness. For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace."
Romans 6:12-14 (NIV)
My response to the Bishops who were interviewd on Fox News and made statements about the interpretations of different denominations as they relate to homosexual acts.
These words from the bible are simple enough for a dumb, un-educated old truck driver to understand; it is not open to interpretation. It says what it says!
"It is God's will that you should be sactified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God; and that in this matter no one should wrong his brother or take advantage of him. The Lord will punish men for all such sins, as we have already told you and warned you. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you His Holy Spirit."
1 Thessalonians 4: 3-8 (NIV)
Never forget what happened to Sodom and Gamora.
God does not change.
