The young man was walking on the beach after a storm.
Nearby was an old gentleman stooping to pick up stranded starfish and tossing them back into the sea.
"Why are you doing that?" the young man asked. The old man replied: "If the starfish don't get back into the water they will die."
"What difference does it make? There are millions of them." The young man replied.
The old man smiled, picked up another, threw it into the water, looked up and said: "It made a difference to him."
What a changed world this would be if we each tried to make a difference in someone's life this year.
