Sunday the children were incredible All of them!!!!!!
Signs of the day:
In the front yard of a funeral home, "Drive carefully, we'll wait."
On an electricians's truck, "Let us remove your shorts."
Outside a radiator repair shop, "Best place in town to take a leak."
In a nonsmoking area, "If we see you smoking, we'll assume you are on fire and take appropriate action."
The town of Gander Newfoundland is home to 10,500 souls. On 9/11/01 fifty two aircraft were diverted to their airport in the wake of the World Trade Center / Pentagon disaster. Six thousand, six hundred strangers were housed, fed, taken on excursions,
given special diets as needed, etc. The passengers on one flight set up a trust fund for students of the local high school to show their appreciation.
Yes, there are some bad people in this world, but there are so many good folks out there too.
God bless America and God bless Canada.
And don't forget! The reason for much of the unrest in the world today is because of hatred for the people with whom God made a special covenent many years ago.
