Memaw recovers well
Four weeks ago yesterday my favorite first wife had abdominal surgery.
Last night there was a little soiree here at the resort. Gladys and the Pip (can you believe that moniker?) played and sang their songs. When they performed the line- dance music, Memaw was ready. She stepped, swirled and scooted with the rest of us. While it was still early, we folded our chairs and retreated to our little home for the night.
Today was a one hour line-dance class. She sat out part of one dance.
I am so proud and grateful.
Ain't God good?

These beautiful children are Tebebu and Amit.
Tebebu will be called Tia. Although they are not biological siblings they will be brother and sister soon.
In a few weeks, Lord willing, I will accompany their "new" Mom and Dad to Addis Ababa Ethiopia and bring them to a new home, 60+ acres in Southwest Missouri.

Student Proverbs
A first grade teacher collected old, well known proverbs. She gave each child in her class the first half of a proverb, and had them come up with the rest.
- As you shall make your bed so shall you... mess it up.
- Better be safe than... punch a 5th grader.
- Strike while the ... bug is close.
- It's always darkest before... daylight savings time.
- You can lead a horse to water but... how?
- Don't bite the hand that... looks dirty.
- A miss is as good as a... mister.
- You can't teach an old dog new... math.
- If you lie down with the dogs, you'll... stink in the morning.
- The pen is mightier than the... pigs.
- An idle mind is... the best way to relax.
- Where there's smoke, there's... pollution.
- Happy the bride who... gets all the presents.
- A penny saved is... not much.
- Two's company, three's... the musketeers.
- Laugh and the whole world laughs with you, cry and... you have to blow your nose.
- Children should be seen and not... spanked or grounded.
- When the blind leadeth the blind... get out of the way.

Resurrected Body
"But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ who, by the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like His glorious body". Phillipians 3:20-21
"Somewhere in my broken, paralyzed body is the seed of what I shall become. The paralysis makes me what I am to become all the more grand when you contrast atrophied, useless legs against splendours resurrected legs. I'm convinced that if there are mirrors in heaven (and why not?) the image I'll see will be unmistakably, "Joni" although a much better, brighter Joni."

Do you know
that chlorophyll in plants is only one atom of iron different from human blood?
We are all interconnected
We are all made of light vibrating at different frequencies.
The Bible tells us “God is light.”
Maybe there is a connection there?
Romans 1:20…”For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-His eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.”
Romans 1:25… ”They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served created things rather than the creator-who is forever praised. Amen”
Global warming? Caused by me?
It seems history begins and ends with, or shortly before, the birth of the people essentially promulgating the philosophy humans are destroying planet earth because temperatures are changing.
During the middle ages there were several hundred years of warm temperatures (AD 800-1300.)
Earth has been both colder and warmer during the last hundred years.
Remember in the ‘60s and ‘70s when the warnings were all about the coming ice age? I do, but you can be sure members of the sound bite, complicit, godless, media do not.
Maybe they need to study the word of God and some unrevised history rather pseudo science. They give credence to the likes of Al Gore and the environmentalist wackos instead. They follow, like lemmings to the sea, the control freak politicians and wanna be presidents.
God is in control, they are not.
